We're emergo.dev, a software studio in Austria. We began as three self-employed developers with two projects, and capacity planning was a hallway conversation. As we grew to ten people and fifteen concurrent projects, that broke down: holiday balances, public holidays across countries, statutory leave, real time accounts — and no clear view of how much runway was left for our own products. We were firefighting and planning on gut feeling. No single tool covered absences, capacity, cash-flow and tasks, so we built one. onda started with absence management, then capacity planning, then a financial forecast, then a task system modelled on the tools we already liked. Today the whole team opens it every morning — and they love it.
